Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Propane Service Technician to join our client a stable, well-respected team in Peabody, MA. Location: Peabody, MA

Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $34-$40/hr (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform propane service work, diagnostics, and tank installations
  • Identify and repair leaks from the propane tank to equipment connections
  • Respond to customer emergencies as needed
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule during evenings and weekends
  • Maintain and prepare spare tanks for deployment
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair tanks at customer locations
  • Assist with propane deliveries (training provided)
  • Communicate effectively with management, dispatch, drivers, and customers

Qualifications

  • Two to three years of propane or oil service experience preferred; HVAC experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
